Feel ten years younger!

Diet And Acne

Warning Issued For Acne Medication Accuttane By Health Canada
OTTAWA By The Canadian Press – Health Canada is advising consumers that rare but potentially deadly skin reactions have been reported with the use of Accuttane for the treatment of severe acne.
In an advisory Tuesday, the federal department said there have been “very rare” reports of severe skin reactions linked to Accuttane that can result in hospitalization, disability or even death.
Accuttane (isotretinoin), made by Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., is prescribed for serious acne that cannot be cleared up by other treatments, including antibiotics. The skin condition, which mainly affects adolescents, causes pimples, cysts and nodules that most often appear on the face, chest and back.
Health Canada said anyone currently taking or recently on Accuttane should stop the drug and see their doctor immediately if any of following symptoms develop:
-Rash, especially if associated with fever and-or malaise or conjunctivitis (red or inflamed eyes, like pink eye).
-Blisters on legs, arms or face, and-or sores in mouth, throat, nose or eyes.
-Peeling skin.
Severe skin reactions can start with mild, non-specific symptoms such as fever, malaise, chills, aching muscles, headache, sore throat or stinging eyes, said Health Canada, noting that it can take up to three days for the skin lesions to develop.
Accuttane has been prescribed over the last 25 years to about 16 million people. There have been 66 cases of severe skin reactions reported in both adults and children worldwide. While other factors were involved in the majority of these cases, an association with Accuttane cannot be ruled out, the advisory states.

My experience with skin tightening
I’m in my early 50s, but I’m often embarrassed when people refer to me

Story about spider vein removal
I started to notice spider veins on my leg in my 50s, which got so
serious that I was embarrassed to show my legs. I went to see
dermatologists and tried many creams and medicines, but none of them

My Mole Removal Experience with Q Esthetics
I had a noticeable mole on the side of my nose; however, I was only concern about it in the winter season. In the cold season the mole would get dry and the creams did not work to make the area more comfortable. After a while I could not take it anymore, so I started to use mole removal creams for a month. But it took so much time and I always had to cover the area with a Band-Aid. I gave up on using the creams before they actually did something. (What a waste!! They are expensive!)
When I looked at the Q-Esthetics website and read some testimonials I had a good feeling about Q Esthetics. (At this point a little bit of doubt because of the mole removal cream experience) But when I met with Nancy I decided to do the treatment right away. (I was there just for a question and a quote that day). She explained the procedure, and kindly made a plan considering my budget. It took only 1 hour to remove the mole, and it wasn’t painful at all. 2 weeks later the scar was gone. There is a small tiny little scar left, but it’s really not noticeable at all. Even when I tell people about it, nobody believes me. I’m really satisfied with the job Nancy did. I don’t even think about the mole at all now. It’s just amazing!! I am a 53 year old lawyer in Toronto. It came as a bit of a surprise to me a few years ago when my wife of 20 years decided she wanted a divorce. It came
as an ever bigger surprise when I found out shortly after our separation
that she had “hooked up” with my best friend! Needless to say, I felt
rejected and depressed and not in the mood for “dating” again. That
situation was made worse by the gradual appearance and growth of a mole near
my eyelid which was, quite frankly, very unattractive. I went to see my GP
