Toronto Juvederm^® Injection

Juvederm^® has been approved for use in Canada since 2002, and is now one of the most well known dermal fillers due to its efficacy, safety and longstanding results. Juvederm^® injectable gel is made out of colourless hyaluronic acid (HA) which closely resembles the natural substance that exists in the human body, thus it's allergy free, suitable for all skin types and requires no pre-treatment skin test.

Hyaluronic acid exists in the connective tissue of the skin, helping to hydrate and add volume to the skin. By restoring the Hyaluronic acid level in the skin, Juvederm^® can instantly soften wrinkles and lines (such as the nasolabial folds) and gently enhance lips, cheeks and jowls.

Dermal filler injection is one of the fastest growing non-surgical cosmetic procedures in the world. Among so many different types of fillers, Juvederm^® is the only one FDA approved to last up to 1 year. Juvederm^® has two formulations, Juvederm^® Ultra and Ultra Plus. Juvederm^® ULTRA contains a small amount of local anaesthetic, making the injection a uniquely gentle procedure. The Juvederm^® Ultra Plus is more robust, ideal for deeper wrinkles and folds. It also lasts a bit longer. During the procedure, Juvederm^® injectable gel is precisely injected into the treated areas with a very fine needle.
