Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing Toronto
How fractional laser skin resurfacing works?
The Palomar Starlux 500 uses the Lux1540 fractional non-ablative hand-piece to deliver a precise amount of light in an array of high precision microbeams. These microbeams create narrow, deep columns of tissue coagulation while sparing the surrounding tissue from damage.
The coagulated tissue within the columns initiates a natural healing process that accelerates the formation of new, healthy tissue. Coagulated cellular debris is expelled as the skin is resurfaced.
Is fractional laser skin resurfacing safe and effective?
This powerful fractional laser offers the most effective deep correction and long-term dermal remodelling obtainable. In addition, it delivers uniform microbeam penetration, a consistency that can’t be matched by systems that use a scanning approach.
Fractional laser skin resurfacing is safe for all skin types. It does not require topical anesthesia, dye application, or an elaborate cooling process. You can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. Most people experience only mild redness in the treated area, which usually resolves within 24-48 hours.
What can be achieved by fractional laser skin resurfacing?
- Removal of deep wrinkles & lines from the forehead, lip and eye area.
- Disappearance of acne scars, melasma and hyperpigmentation.
- Excellent results on surgical scars, burn scarring and stretch marks.
- Pore size reduction, stimulated collagen and an even skin tone.
